My name is Isabella and I'm the owner of The Secret Moon Shop.
Ever since I was little, I loved to pretend I had my own little shop. At my grandparents's birthdays I would always show up early, and start making drawings and magazines to sell. When the people arrived I would start flyering and telling them I had my shop set up in the back. One by one they would come by to buy something. They all gave me a few cents per drawing to play along. But when the end of the evening came around and it was time for bed, I had already collected a few euro's by just pretend selling my drawings.
So it was no surprise that more than a decade later I started my own shop. I started making potions just for fun, but then I had the idea to sell them online. I never sold anything and I was a bit of a challenge to get everything figured out. But after just one week some of my potions had already sold, to people on the other side of the world! So I started making more and more. And they just kept selling.
At this point we always visited a big outdoor fantasy event here in The Netherlands. I had the idea to apply and try to sell my products at this huge fair. To our big surprise I was selected to attend the event! Because it was quite expensive and I honestly had no idea what I was doing, my dad decided to also start a shop. He started making jewellery and called his shop The Seven Seas. The idea was that we could split the costs if it were to be a disaster.
But it wasn't.
It was a huge success! So many of you visited and loved the potions so much you decided to buy them. I was nearly sold out by the end of the weekend. This weekend was the beginning of selling my potions at events, and I couldn't be happier!
And that brings us here. My own webshop with even more products, and still selling my products at big events all though-out the country. I would not be here without all of your support. So thank you so much and I hope we can meet soon at an event!
